In 2010, Singapore will take off the year with the an addition of a vast amount of great, new attractions with the start of the two upcoming integrated resorts, namely Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World at Sentosa, as well as the hosting of the inaugural Youth Olympics Games.

The addition of novel attractions in the integrated resorts boasts an ArtScience Museum devoted to the exploration of both art and science; the introduction of new retail brands currently not available in Singapore; nightly light and water shows; celebrity chef restaurants; unique spaces such as the Event Plaza, and the one hectare Sky Park offering 360-degree views of the city.

Singapore will also embrace, in spring 2010, the inclusion of a Universal Studios theme park with 16 out of the 22 rides specially designed for this city; the Marine Life Park; an oceanarium spanning 8 hectares; the Maritime Xperiential Museum; a maritime museum dedicated to the subject of the maritime silk route between East Asia and the Middle East; the Equarius Water Park; a unique water theme park custom designed to integrate with the hillside terrain of Sentosa, FestiveWalk; which will have retail and dining outlets, a nightly Crane Ballet show on the waterfront; as well as a resident Le Vie show by award-winning art directors from Cirque du Soleil.
